KEC novosti 31.03.2005 18:11:33 GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Grant No. TF050539 HR The Republic of Croatia Karst Ecosystem Conservation Project GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Grant No. TF050539 HR This general procurement notice updates that published in UN Development Business No 621 of 31 December 2003. The Government of Croatia has received a grant from the GEF through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in the amount of US$ 5,07 equivalent toward the cost of the Karst Ecosystem Conservation Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this grant to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the three main components as follows: Component 1. Build national capacity to conserve biodiversity and support sustainable resource use Component 2. Establishing community-based mechanisms for biodiversity conservation and sustainable resource use in the karst region Component 3. Project Management and Monitoring The project will include the following items and service to be procured through international competitive bidding: - Audio visual equipment Procurement of contracts financed by the grant will be conducted through the procedures specified in the World Banks Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997 and January 1999). Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank's international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures will be announced, as they become available, in Development Business, Vjesnik and Official Gazette of the RC.
